    Spektrum DX6 help

hi guys, can anyone tell me how to adjust the stick tension of Spektrum DX6 Tx?
i notice that there are screws on the front and back of the Tx... so is it opened from the back using normal screwdrivers? or from the front using the provided allen key?

    Dx6

    Must open the back cover.
Look for the spring tension screw adjuster.

    Thanks

btw it seems that even though the DX6's antenna is short, it cannot be retracted like most Tx do.
so that makes its antenna too long to fit inside most Tx cases... does anyone has any solution to this prob?

i just bend the antenna slightly up, and it fit nicely into my case.
the antenna in the pic seem out of the box, due to camera angle.

              I don't think there's a spring tension adjuster.

forget to mention, you might want to check if the antenna is taking any stress when you are trying to close the case. don't want to wear out the antenna plastic and spring while keeping it in the case. need to try and error a bit, remove additional form, cut some form here, add some form there, and you will have a very fitting case.

Open my back cover once to adjust the throttle ratchet from click to no click. I did not notice if the spring tension adjuster available. Try not to open mine to check. Did a search on RCGROUPS, Yes, no spring tension adjuster for all sticks on DX6.

                  Thank

But I think once you get used to the tension, it shouldn't be a problem. You might end up having stronger thumbs.

                      look again

Actually there is, but it's not obvious. I had to get into mine to convert to Mode 1 as I am a southpaw; it was a real "treat". The radio is electronically great but the stix are mechanical junk. The little phillip head screws going thru the plastic blocks that have the spring hooks on them move the blocks up and down in their channels by worm screw action but don't move in and out themselves so it looks like they don't do anything.
