Max 450TH

I have a 450th with hobbywing 35A. If I spin the motor without load there is no problem. When I fitted onto my X400, there is this screeching sound coming from the motor. There is no binding on the main gear. I can turn it by hand easy. When mounted to the heli, I have a slight play between the teeth. When I move the throttle up, the screeching starts. The motor can't seem to turn the main gear but suddenly it will just start up. This is quite violent, the head will spin very fast.
On the ECS programming, I have set no brakes, timing is on soft (recommended in the ECS instruction for this engine).
Any body knows the problem or do I have a busted motor?

Try changing the timing and see if it works.

I have tried super soft, and soft timing without much different.

did you check the type of motor e.g no of pole ?
