Rx burned out?need help....:(

How do you check to see if your rx given up on you...?my servo twitch when i connect.no movement when i use the Tx sticks.so are my servo soil or my rx...??

1) check the Rx antenna ... the antenna lose?

2) try different crystals .. maybe crystals spoilt

3) maybe your esc gave up on you and couldnt supply the Rx the power ?

4) servo connection ?

my Rx antenna came lose in mid flight and lost control of it.
also the crystals were problematic due to hard crashes.
and ive spoilt my Rx too before ..

I antenna are ok...

Crystals both ok.It was fine before this.

3) maybe your esc gave up on you and couldnt supply the Rx the power ?
Its not setup yet.I try to test the components cos i intend to do another plane setup.

4) servo connection ?
looks fine to me.....any possibility the rx will be damage if the batt are connect wrongly...?in this case will the servo be damaged too?

fyi, you can use 6 volt source to power up you rx, then debug 1 by 1.
i made one using a 4cell AA case and a 3 pin servo connecter, very good for testing.

what causes it to burned out?short circuit?Still cant trouble shoot unless have another rx to test my servo...

I dunno. I just plugged in my servos and batt into the rx. It was working. then after that I disconnect then reconnect the same way and smoke start coming out.

could it be the batt plug wrongly.......?

No. I checked that the batt is plugged correctly. It just started smoking suddenly. I was using the same batt also.

Have you checl your Tx is it config for FM or PCM? If it can be program.

my Tx had a switch from PCM to PPM and i accidentally switched it in midflight losing control ..

i thought PPM and PCM no difference ?

Huh! ur tx can switch ppm to pcm so easily? In that case better tape the switch or do something about it. Its super dangerous.

i stopped using that Tx already cant remember what tx it was.. used it when i first started out months ago. it was some china brand Tx that motor shop gave me

china brand tx that motor shop gave me when i bought a hell lot of stuff from him. paid him a small price . it's shaped like the Walkera dragonfly tx for plane and heli
