Help needed for IFO

Hi Art - to round it off, I will just report what is observed factually.

Buyers beware.
1. The person posting the kite stuff (using multiple names as listed by Art) is trying to mislead about the capabilities of this kites possibly enticing newcomers to enter the sport with an inappropriate category.
2. The person is most probably from one of the rc kite shop and has used multiple names and threads to slime other rc kite shops and to praise his own.
3. Do also take note of which shop has a contention with Ed22 and cheated his time and money.
4. Pls be careful of viral posts in the form of polls, videos regarding these kites. Its used by one of the vendors (most probably) to give you an impression that is not aligned with reality - beginners beware.
5. Even when buyers purchased a kite from reputable shops such as Rotor, the same person would posts illogical posts (eg. the video) in an attempt to steer the topic raised.
6. Person is also very unhelpful to newcomers asking questions about their kites (see current thread) - so there is possibility that other than the issue that Ed22 faced (did not get back money n did not get goods ordered), post-sale service may be elusive or unhelpful.

I've been giving warnings and such to those guys for a long time...and HZM and I are running out of patience...me..particularly....

So I would like to end all these subtle marketing saga, and encourage members to visit www.acehobby.com.sg for IFO/RC Kites discussions.

Less, the said LHS publicly apologises here in www.daddyhobby.com and explain their intentions, all RC kite discussions will be redirected to ace hobby's website/forum.

No wonder alot of hobbist that i know of asked me when and where is my hobby shop opened, when i was in thailand last month ( I was puzzled ) .
Also i have unknown people viewing my friendster's profile . Well , thanks.
However i have to clarify one thing. if u have any enquiry regarding remote kite, i can help. But if u need me to sell u components, that i can't .As, no matter how i wish i really own a shop, In actual fact i don't own one. :-P

Reply : The IP address listed by Art is a shared network and i can vouch that the three names belong to three different people. Also for begginers I would strongly suggest computer simulator practices first.

Reply : I don't slime RC kite shops name.They know me . I still have to buy thing too you know.I really don't own one too.

Reply : this i apologised, that period i was really proud of the video that ace did, so i sort of did an attachment with whatever post i did.Also the reason i did not give direct opinion to help is, i don't own a rotohobby kite. Thus i i asked him to look for the person i find most appropriate .( a shop has to be responsible for what he /she sells)

The Issue on hand (let me remind you again), is the flying weaving in and out of MSCP. DO NOT try to dilute or bring in other issues that did not happen in the video. If you are ok and know how to stick to sound argument, tell me how this flying is acceptable.

Safety is safety, if I have to wrestle you to the ground to ensure safety, I will do it mate. You can bet your life on that. If you want to do stunts, do it in a big field where you can make reasonable judgement. This is unacceptable, for when a person crash in a big field, he can see where he crash, weaving in and out of MSCP and not being able to see below no way!

AND who exactly are you? We are going OT here, I am fine to meet up with you and debate all these right through. I will even buy you coffee. Art, you have to come, I would like to see this person for myself. And ask Anthony to come along too, I will get the police to take a look and let them decide if it is safe to fly like this. Well to talk abt wat i took, how abt those nitro heli in the MSCP??? Seems to me u are pretty violent, safety? lolx.. wats make u think that safety precaution ard has not be taken and ensured? If he ask you to stop, just continue flying, you will learn the meaning of violence from there... You are pretty smart with your words and since you talk the walk already on the measures you have and all, prove it, walk the talk show me how the authority will accept your style of flying in mscp.

And if you want to pull Art into the picture, If we do ever meet up for coffee together, ask him about RC injuries and what is some of the more serious one he has gotten. You will be surprised how a docile looking kite can be dangerous, it is that same false security that has gotten people injured, you never see RC kite fly into somebody before ah...


And finally, I am not biased towards Kite lol. I just dun like how some local called it their invention. I am perfectly fine with IFO. I just dun like pretentious people with multiple nicks going around saying RC kites give them a nightlife and all that mushy stuff...

Mmm So my safety officer may i ask where do u fly or have u flown? wat are the T/O and L/D procedure? Safety height and and distance? Wat are the SOP fliling and clearance from the gov. Your stand is not clear, and the virtual evidance is insufficient, using same IP does not define similiar person, it like ppl registering at their work place registering for the same forum from a same pc may i ask how many IPs are there? or the easiest, if your family use your pc to register how many would there be? or its the same person? lolx... I have cleared my stand with ART on my registration/appliaction. i dont see the need to clarify wit u, but i will still do to clear my name, i lost my id so i reregister again. lolx... FYI er thats history pls dont bring that up cos i am not interested in the issue lolx... ok... only interested in gettin clips on ppl flying and presenting to public.. i am here only seeking your advise for a safety i need to look out for to create a clip which can present the max capabilities of any RC equipment do let me know where u fly maybe i can get a clip and your safety knowledge thx.. we are here also to help ppl getting advise for starting up n have fun...
