Last Sat went to Sengkang to fly. Wind was quite strong but as I had no problem with my 2.5m Peter Lynn the day before at West Coast, I thought I have a go with my 3.5m Predator.

Once launched, I got dragged so I brought down the kite. I sat down to lower my CG and relaunched my kite....immediately kenna dragged like a rag doll. Quickly brought down the kite before it does permanent damage to my butt. Packed the kite and took out my 1.5m instead. Tail between my legs.....there were plenty of spectators.

Guys, anyone knows where to get dual line stunt kite locally? Currently I have the Pulse, from Premier Kite, I'm looking for a bigger one.

wish i have time to travel to sengkang or punggol..

woodlands wind is great but too gusty and it can change direction 180 deg without warning.. so flying in the field is quite frustrating.. but nevertheless i try to fly every weekends before the wind gone.

bro.. check ebay sg, layangman do sell stunt kite. He stay ard Punggol if not mistaken.
Previous, when i checked, he did have few stunt kites for sale.

Hi Friends,

The wind season is almost coming to an end and there's not much action here in the forum.

Hope it's not too late to generate more interest.

Was with my kids in Elias Park this afternoon and saw some bro flying a Revolution Quad line. Immediately hand itch. My kites have been collecting dust.

All of my kite are power type. Feel strongly to get myself one of those Revolution shaped stunt kite. Any recommendations from any bros here?

BTW, on the 14 & 15 Feb 09, there is a kite Festival/ happening in Punggol.

We can make it a gathering.

Hi Ken,
During the north-east monsoon season, they are flying at Pasir Ris Park, otherwise, you can see them flying at east coast parkway, near to Big Splash, somewhere near the new jetty.
I was there 2 wks ago at Pasir Ris park and saw this guy flying his Revolution and also 4-stacks of dual-line stunt kites. It was amazing.
I'm very tempted to get the Revolution...

Revolution Rocks!

In Singapore only one person I know, who buggy-ing with powerkite. His nick is extremekite in this forum. A really nice guy and very helpful with tips and advice.


Anyway, i wish to get one revolution too, but only when i could no longer have strength in powerkiting..

i find powerkiting is so addictive and fun.. Owned a quantum stunt kite for more than a year but fly only couple of time and im really hopeless with tricks. Could only do a figure 8..

ya, i think he is the one. fun guy. Is the quad 1.5 from Prism or make in China.
