Man decapitated by remote-controlled toy helicopter

    be careful guys.
Funny, they call a Trex 700e a "toy helicopter".

Very unfortunate news. From the youtube he seemed a seasoned flyer, probably doing stunts too up close and something went horribly wrong. And they also called the Trex "A Taiwanese Model" very suggestively. Any model from anywhere else can be fatal if safety is not adhered to.

Another casualty in this sport and hobby. May his soul rest in peace.

Regardless another reminder that safety first and that the risk of death or being maimed for life can occur with whatever rotor or prop that spins... helicopters, multi rotors and planes all included (see http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1961165)

I know a few people who've spilt blood from accidents or have had near misses with one of their birds but these occurrences never make it to the forums for one reason or another.

Fly safe and always assume that any motor can suddenly spring to life so here's wishing safety to everyone for bench work too.
