This year's event will showcase plenty of interesting aircrafts and heli:

We have in registered handful of warbirds, civilian aircrafts, aerobatic and an interestingly huge 120" wingspan Skyvan from Thailand. The last couple of weeks have seen lots of participant maidening their planes and we certainly wish you had a successful flight and gearing up for the event.

There will be lucky draw for all registered pilots and there are plenty of nice prizes to be won.

In addition, we have prepared a small token of door gift (courtesy of PA and valid for first 300 spectators) and lucky draw prizes for spectators on Sunday, which will be conducted at 6pm on Sunday.

So come and have an enjoyable weekend with us at RCS 2010 on 16 and 17 October

            Some words of caution:
            • Please exercise caution when turning at the traffic junction into the flying site and ensure traffic is clear prior to turning.
            • There is an improved driveway into the site (Still a bit bumpy) so please follow the guided driveway.

            Facilities available at flying site:
            • There will be a Muslim food stall setup on the day itself, selling Ramly burger, nasi goreng, mee/beehoon goreng etc.... plus drinks stall as well, teh, kopi soft drinks etc, but no alcohol.
            • Mobile toilets are also present

Potong Pasir CC YEC Aeromodelling club will spare no effort to ensure that we have a good and fun event, and more importantly a safe one.

For any further clarifications and enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me at 9644-6681 or henry_ctg@yahoo.com.sg

Thank you and see you all this weekend

Can anyone Pin Point the exact location of the FF?

                Hello everyone...

Pardon my entrusion into this thread, but I just wonder if anyone can pin point the location of the Flying Filed in Tuas South Ave. 3.

I'm looking at the map, and Tuas South Ave. 3 seems to be a very long road.
Perhaps someone can post a satellite image of the place with the "X marks the spot" kind of thing.

Or if the organizers can post a detailed "how to get there" instructions for those spectators (like me) who are VERY interested to see this event. For the benefit of everyone who will go there either by thier own car (for those who have car), by taxi (for those who have money), or by BUS (if any)(for those in a budget, like me) .

                This is just my suggestion...

Though possible, but I wouldn't want to walk the whole stretch of Tuas South Ave. 3 just to try see this event.

                Thank you very much!!!
I'm hoping that this event would be a big success!!! Good Luck!!!

                      Hi Ice,

Thanks for the headsup. Below is a quick guide to the flying site:

Getting there by public transport (SBS 182, 182M from Boon Lay temp. Interchange). There's a bus-stop directly opposite the flying site. Please see the attached.

For those driving, turn left at Tiger Beer Factory and head straight for another 10 minutes drive (I drive slow lah), until you reach Tuas South Ave 3 and you will see 3 very tall red and white chimmnies on the right. The flyin site is next to the chimmnies. (Don't worry the chimmnies are still far away from the flight path from there you will turn right at a traffic light junction into the paveway where the main gate is and you will definitely see the site.

There will be lots of tentages on Sunday itself so will most likely not to miss it.

Thanks Adrian, for the photo of the site.
