Take lots of photos
Hi $h@d0w,
Hope you are bringing a proper camera and will be taking lots of photos.
I usually like to snap all-round surface detail, colour and weathering shots to use as plastic-model references. As usual the organizers are being hush-hush about the static display subjects. Other than an A-10 (probably, based on a photo in the papers), I don't know what other military subjects will be there, so unless there's a subject there that I'm really keen on modelling, I'll probably save my $20 and give it a miss this time round.
You have a good time there, man! Drink lots of water, and don't forget the sun-block :>... It's in the Details... :>

As long as it primarily a camera first...
Hi $h@d0w,
No offence. What I meant by 'proper camera' is any dedicated camera, be it a point-n-shoot compact or better still a DSLR. Another words, not a handphone camera, webcam, spycam, camcorder (these don't take very good stills). Compacts can take amazingly good shots these days.
Same here, I intend to get a DSLR too, but I'm waiting for Canon to incorporate the tilt-n-swivel feature onto the viewing screen at the back. Once again Nikon beat them to that with the D5000.
F-35? I wonder whether it's the real thing this time, or the same old FSD mock-up again.
Anyway it's a good thing you can go during the trade days, fewer people to get in the way of your shots Enjoy!... It's in the Details... :>
