Frequency Update In Bedok Reservoir

Dear all,

with the up and coming popularity of RC activities in Bedok Reservoir, many of us have raise our concern about frequency clashes within the premises. As promised... I came up with something. Have spoken to Mike(HZM) and he had agree to the suggestion.

This is how it goes:

As everyone can see, this new account has been created with safety in mind so that we could make BR a better place for all of us. For those who are interested or are already sloping/sailing in BR, kindly PM details to this account.

Please indicate the followings:

1) Forum NICK

2) Frequency(e.g. 72.xxxmhx)

3) Frequency Type(e.g.AM/FM/PCM/SPCM/QPCM/G3)

4) Contact Number(mobile 8/9xxxxxx)


This is how its gonna work.
-A hand full of slopers/sailors will be selected to manage this account.

-Respective parties will update a database to keep in check of the frequency use in BR.

-Those who have their NICKS and details updated will be posted in the reply page(so you guys can see the updates)

-In any event when Frequency Checker spot a clash of frequency, a PM will be sent to both parties involved. Both contact number will be given.

-Parties involved will be responsible to check with the other user.

-Even with this system, shit might still happen... so please keep standard safety check in mind as well.


By far, this is the only idea i can come up with... any input or better suggestions welcome.

I have a few candidates in mind.
1) tampines flyer (already agreed to help)
2) Chiadennis (already agreed to help)
3) Vortices (Kelvin cant get you on your mobile)
4) Joe Yap (Joe cant get you on your mobile)
5) Backlite (Erwin cant get you on your mobile)
and of cos myself will help too.

I think it is also good in include the actual names, especially so for non forum users. Many of the folks there do not use tihs forum and should not be excluded as well. We can include thier names and frequencies on behalf for references.

lol... of cos can lah... just sent in using your joe yap account and post using br_frequency_checker. Remember to keep a copy so that others can copy and paste. For their case can put a (non forum member) behind I guess.
