    first off, you said this,

"I have heard and seen many cases of people buying these cheap chinese "kites" because they are really cheap but in the end cannot fly properly."

So where and when did you see such kites not being able to fly properly? Mind pointing me to owners of these kites so I can seek advice from people who have had first hand experience? I'm thinking of getting one.

And you kept stressing that it's our choice and that you are not against us purchasing ifos from china.

Yet, at the same time, you're constantly putting down kites from China and praising the kites from gfk to the skies. Also, I take issue with this phrase "It is just a matter of status and class. Which side you belong."

What exactly is your point in these few posts of yours? You are clearly discouraging us from these china ifos yet at the same time trying to be diplomatic by saying it's all our own choice.

True, it sucks to have your design copied and then passed off as their own. But, this doesn't mean the original will always be the best. Ask the Japanese. They were not always the most inventive poeple that they are now. I can give you a long story too on how the Japanese used to copy everything from the west in the past. China can and will be another Japan imho.

Actually, you might have carried yourself wrongly with your words. Certain phrases that you've used might have sounded snobbish and overbearing to others.

    Dear Readers / Members,

I appologise if I sounded snobbish and overbearing to others. I may be a little carried away when I kept getting cases of people trying to to copy something that was created by locals. Nothing against China products, if they are good, they are good. But if not done ethically, I think these people are not being upright about it. When I said all these "attacking" & hostile statements, they are really targeted at this particular case of the "stolen" video clips by this chinese company.

I may be the only one who think GFK is the original people who called these flying objects RC Kites. Ok, if GFK people don't say that, I will not say that again. But seriously, why would I be ashamed if others tell me that they have flown their IFO since 1999-2000? In fact, when I first went to GFK shop to investigate this hobby before buying my own, the people there did tell me that the creator actually took his IFO bought from the US and studied its design and flying capability then he improved the design. Actually, I also watched a video clip at the shop where the creator said openly in the local TV programme that he bought an IFO and did some mod to it and improve and added lights to his creation. That's creative and I am impress with that. There I was sold to this product and the way they are doing their business. They made sure I learn how to fly my kite well. The level of service is really impeccable and commendable.

    Always want PEACE!!!
    Spirit High...Flying High...

Thanks to these RC Kites... My nights are not boring anymore...You gave me a NIGHT LIFE in Singapore!

Something to be really proud of being part of a great family!!!
