wah very chim, after reading the entire posting still dunno what they toking about, what clown fish? what nemo? put 2 together will fight? what's LMF or LFM by the way? hehe, can summarize for non reefer?

Here is the summary :

This guy by the name of Jason who is a trader tried to sell a pair of True Percular Clown fishes(aka Nemo from that Disney movie) to hobbist in that forum. However a few of them bought it n they died within 24hrs. A pair of mated clown fishes need not be separated n will live happily together.

After ppl know, he tried to change his nick hoping no one will recognise him and begin his selling antics again. However he committed a few mistakes therefore he was found out and denied it was him until the victims came out to point it out.

He created a total of 4 clones to cover his tracks.

I didnt know ppl will do this juz to earn a profit!!!

Using clones to earn money... it is common in Ebay. It even happen to Hardwarezone (Computer forum) whereby clone #1 sell item A. Then clone #2 said... "Wah!! Good Item! I want it" Then Clone #3 also say good. It also happen in such a way multiple clones from a company X who keep on posting saying compay Y sux and etc.

To have a mated pair of clownfish, its extremely difficult. One will bigger(male) n the other will be the smaller(female). The female will lay the eggs on a suitable surface n the male will fertilise the eggs. And both of them r doting parents n will care for the eggs till they hatch.

If u have a pair of arowana, u will be a rich man!!! Each time it will lay abt 30+ eggs and if each egg hatch to an arowana u r rich!!! Each young Red or Crossback arowana cost abt S$2k to 2.5K multiple it by 30 n u will have S$60K profit each time ur Arowana lay eggs!!! Thatz why breeding fishes is a lucative business!!! Lets get into the fishy business!!!


But hor clownfish cost abt S$1 to 3 per fish and they lay abt 20+ eggs only so ur profit not that high lah.

Yes, clownfishes do fight!!! In fact most of all fishes do. The stronger ones will bite the weaker fins until all gone then when the weaker one can swim n lots of bleeding then bye bye liao lor.

There is a hierachy chart somewhere abt marine fishes n their compatibility with each other.

Mostly its abt territory lah. Same as humans!!! Thatz why u always see gangster fighting.

I know one particular seller already change his nick several times to cover his track leow.... but i can't tell what nick is he using now. He junk his nicks when the reputation goes very negative after offending his buyers.....

This kinda of things is very rampant in other forums...

Used to freq aquarealms, arofanatics.. always got one or two clone nicks.
Not surprised.. esp internet is such a grey zone.. hard to catch..
