How do heat pipe cooling work on nowadays CPU cooling?

    Hi Guys

Just wondering how would a heat pipe work if most of our motherboards in casings are mounted perpendicular to the ground?

Issn't the heatpipe work by some liquid compressed at a v high pressure which evaporates to the top of the heatsink to cool the processor?

      Heat Pipe Cooling

Heat pipes are not meant to cool; it just helps to distribute the heat to a specific area (or a larger area, depends on the design) so that you can remove the heat through heatsinks or liquid coolers or other means. If you're interested to know more about cooling electronics components you can PM me.
