    any idea where to buy r/c hovercraft?

    my colleague is interested in getting a hovercraft. Any idea where to get 1 ? i dont mean toy rovercraft in toy r us ok ? =)

        Have one such toy. Damn difficult to control. It does run on sea and land though.

          My personal favorites are Griffon 2000TDX and SR.N5. ...Hovercraft are are never easy to control, they slide around too much, but that's what they are supposed to do.

            That's the sentence I'm looking for. Probably need a gyro or something to help.

              The thread only comes up when searched?

              Its pretty stable, it'll float without drifting much. With the prop at the back, control shouldnt be a problem, only the rudders have to be substantially larger than on a plane. The project stalled, hoping to complete sometime in the near future.
