    nazi swartz sticker

20 some yrs ago I walked past one of the local motorcycle shop and saw some of the nazi swartz stickers they were selling,..of course, most of us Singaporean dont really care about the implication of such symbols let alone condone to the selling of such stuff,..but, as a teenager, thought it was cool, so bought afew,...and thought it was even cooler to stick some of those stickers on the back of my dad's Mercedes since its German made plus nazi = Germany....well, they didnt go well with him....had me took them down after he realized what I done...anyway not trying to start a Klu Klux Klan convention here in Singapore, just want some for my warbirds,....so are they still selling these at the motorcycle shops in Singapore?

I think there are political sensitivity regarding putting up German swastika and your dad knows it. Have you not notice German warbird replica don't use this logo instead they use the German cross. I really know the full reason but better be safe than sorry.

dloh, the actual WW2 swastika is a reversed version of the one in your photo!

...If I'm not mistaken. The swastika in one of it's orientations and laid 'flat' on one arm is also a symbol used by buddhist organisations.

wow,..checked that, guess ur right,..here's what I found out...

The word SWASTIKA stems from the Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language: SVASTIKAH, which means 'being happy'. In India the word is related to things of good fortune because it means being happy. The cause of all life and all manifestations of life is movement.

Too bad Nazi polluted the symbol as well as the word
