iPhone iPad JB

Hi guys, need some advice if anyone of you is up to date on this.

My iPhone 3GS is still on OS 3.1.3. I want to update to OS4 so that I can install some of the new apps, but at the same time want to have untethered JB. Is it possible at this point in time?

Same for me iPad on OS 3.2.2 (it's the MC model btw). Also possible to upgrade to OS4 with untethered JB at this point?

Hi you can go safari to upgrade to ios 4.2 .b 4 you in store it, you have to backup you data, APP ,contacts no.
