I am using Maxthon and Avant Browsers....both are much better than IE.
IE tends to be easily penetrated by virus and hackers....therefore....NO NO for IE.

Hi all Firefox user... Some of u might already know this tweak but for those who didn't know... here is some tweak to make your Firefox run faster.

BTW... Use Firefox 1.0.4... it is much faster.

Tweak:
In the URL area, u key in this
about:config

That will allow u to view/set the advance setting. Look for
"network.http.pipelining". The default is false. Double click on it to set it to true.

Look for:
"network.http.proxy.pipelining". The default is false. Double click on it to set it to true.

Look for:
"network.http.pipelining.maxrequests". The default is 4. Set higher value like e.g. 16 or more.

Right click anywhere within the Preference Name list area. A pop up menu will come up. Select "New->Interger". Key in this "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" (Without the double quote). Then enter 0 (Numeric zero).

Exit Firefox.

As for Theme, I prefer Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) v2.82 or higher.

I think Firefox do support CSS or stylesheet. Some style may have compatibility problem though.

I did the changes u suggested. but some of the threads here with pictures dun load like they are supposed to leh.... like for the mini micro plane thread, now there are multiple copies of the micro plane picture loading and appearing for every poster.... how? my FF is 1.0.4

Hi Ray, most likely u enter wrongly or missed out something. Try clearing any cache u have and see how. If still fail, Uninstall and reinstall again see whether can fix the problem or not.

Hey JCho.... DO NOT USE Netscape 8. I read someplace else before that it got problem... major problem.

Further more, the Netscape 8 supprisingly require IE to present in the system in order to run!
