Im in the data storage / semiconductor industry in KLA Tencor as an engineer.
Prior, my past jobs are miles away from current field, in the plastic moulding industries.

My second hobby can't really be defined properly, but will evolve around remote control stuffs. Planes, boats, cars, trucks etc.. and who knows in future, maybe buggies ( the only RC genre that I had not been working on yet ).

Recently into Nerf ( OK don't laugh, I know.. kids toy ). But would like to venture further. Just modified my Nerf Recon. But unfortunately this "version" will only be kept indoors.

I am a Financial Services Consultant for a reputable Financial Advsior.

I deal with Life/Personal Accident/etc insurance for individuals and also provide quotes for renewal of car insurance as well as travel insurance.

On top of that, I am holding a weekend job to make full use of my time.
My current hobby is meeting people, understanding their concerns, assisting them to see things with an open mind on top of an over-horizon vision and see how I can walk with them in quest for peace of mind and a well-thought future.

So far, I tried AIA and Prudential, both rejected me.

Cos, me got too many illnesses.

I have the following existing incurable illnesses:

Yearly visit to specialist in National Eye Centre

Three mthly visit to specialist in SGH

Open date appt given by specialist in TTSH

Six mthly visit to specialist in SGH


Currently paying subsides rate of S$25 for consultation for seeing the different specialist. Each visit to SGH, spent S$100+. Every time ask me go for blood test, x-ray, bone density scanning and trying different expensive medicine.


Any insurance company out there willing to cover me??? Willing to pay a small premium mthly to cover all my existing medical expenses. Currently it is being paid by my company lah but when I resign/terminated/retrench/retire, I still need to see these specialist for treatment.

AIA agent was my wife and her boss, they tried to push but still kena reject.

Prudential agent was my close fren, he and his boss also tried to push but still kena reject.


But no problem, life still goes on, just need to pay out of own pocket when I retire.

Adrianli I'm afraid that's how it's like. Perhaps you can try again. They have records of your application and upon seeing the time inbetween and you are still ok they may reconsider your application with some exclusions.

It is bad news but don't worry you are not alone. Thats one reason why I'm in this line, for life.
