Good thing about this hobby

Finding someone that is in this hobby is not that easy unless we know where to go.

But.. running into someone with the same hobby at an unexpected location usually brings lots of smiles and a new friend found...

Today.. the air-con serving company i engaged, just started flying micro helis... the conversation started when he saw my Tx, batts chargers on the table.. and my formosa at the window ledge...

That's one thing that I really like about this hobby... making frens.

Agree....... It's really fun and happy when we found someone is just like us
is interested in or started in rc flying, sure can become 'kaki' and fly together!

Making friend is easy when there is common ground....in our case is the hobby that link us together We may be living in a totally diff world and life style....but once into the hobby the world turn into one.....

I talk more over the 2 1/2 hr wkend FF then the entire wk at work with my co-worker.... .....you just work and work....dont feel like talking as there is no common interest.....

I l0ve this hobby man.... what can be cooling than it....

It allowed me to "find back" my Sec school CCA senior!!!! turns out he's in the same hobby as well!!!!!---> Phiber!!!!! ( Years of hanging out in IRC looking for "Phiber-X" )

and then suddenly, Mike starts talking to this person who turns out to be someone i used to know but lost contact with for like what? 4-5 years? what can be cooler than that?

Yes...it's really nice to have friends in the same interest. I am very happy to know so many great pilots here and become friends. It's nice to be able to fly together in the blue sky... Love it...

Well what I think is that most people in RC are exceptionally friendly, forgiving,
big heart, understanding, accommadating and the helpful. In short, a bunch of very nice people. You just can`t find them anywhere else but RC. That make us like even we are not flying we still enjoy mingling with all these people.

Thats what i love RC and hate RC too coz i got to spend n spend.

My sentiment came when I go flying site I hardly been to. I see familiar faces greeting each other and on just few metres away, people joking and smiling Couldnt have asked for more than this.
