    adhesive remove help, glass/fishtank

hi, have a piece of glass panel tear apart from a fish tank.
any way of removing the adhesives sticking the small piece from the glass in the pic ?
there are about 3 of them stuck there.
is kind of waste to throw away.

    thanks

Ok, i dun know if this will work.

But u can try heating that area up n see will the adhesive melt or get soften.

be careful when u heat the area though. a sudden increase in temperature may shatter the glass.

Agreed... dont heat them up coz this glass aren't tempered.

Looks like the adhesive is super glue, there isnt any residue. My suggestion is to use thinner to soften then remove...

First u must know wat adhesive izit... silicone, superglue, epoxy? Different glue different treatment. Once u know mayb can search the internet. I think epoxy will be toughest.

Silicone, try IPA (iso-propyl alcohol). Superglue, use nail polish remover.

Dude. Try pouring paint thinner.. If these are the same adhesive use to secure double glazed safety glass.. Then should work.

i have no idea what adhesive is used. will get some thinner and maybe combo with a hair-dryer to try. have some unknown alcohol from homefix, will try too.

lighter fluid seem to work for the silicone part.

                thanks
