I have always assumed that speeding after sunset, the probability is closed to 0% is becoz they do not have high-tech speed camera to capture us speeding in the dark.

    Is my assumption rite?

I will not bet on this......

Back then, they use unmarked car to cruise on the expressway, at the road's speed limit, at night. They record cars that speed pass them and they relay this to the roadblock, many kilometres ahead. Not sure whether they still practice this now.

Travel up & down NSHW many time. Lot of time up in the morning & back at night. You get stop by the "Friendly" people many a time; be it DAY or NIGHT. (I think they do shift as well)
              THE RULE OF THE GAME:
You are presume speeding when they ask you to pull over. (at whatever "SPEED" so clock or mention by them.)
Most of the time, you will be ask or offer "INDIRECTLY" if you like to take the ticket or pay now.
Its up to you, to pay spot fine or take the ticket.

hard to understand the malaysian govt..
they stop all the road blocks once to stop the kopi money event.
now they come out super fast car to catch people.
soon the kopi money will come in place again!!!!

for super fast cars used for traffic police is very normal in most
countries. I have read for even faster cars been used such
                as the lambo and ferr!!

not only in malaysia, i have seen singapore TP speeding in their WRX
without siren at TPE and almost cost a accident with my friend. But
they push the blame away and issue a summon lor.
its normal in this world as police is also human. its the dicipline that
                makes the different lor.

i bet malaysians and singaporeans TP will soon be in the F1 drivers list

I have seen several where SG TP speeds w/o turning on their siren.

This is their trick. They will follow a suspected speeding car behind to determine it's actual speed. By this time, the driver have already knew that TP is behind him already, so he will slow down to the normal speed. So the TP will 'purposely' pull to the side of the road n stop there. They will let the car be out of their sight for a few mins before they start to move on n chase up with the car earlier on. This method is to throw the speeding driver off guard. Most of the time, when TP is out of sight, that driver will start to speed. This is where the TP comes in to catch it red-handed. They will turn on the siren when they r abt to stop the driver.

SG TP needs to go thru many defensive n advance driving course before they r allowed on the road

Well all I have to say is... be safe. Don't speed. If you wanna speed there are places where you can speed(PG, Sepang etc). To show how fast you can drive is one thing... the problem is innocent people will be the casuallty of your reckless driving. Everyone will say this will not happen to me... who knows when it will happen. Just be safe on the road.
As for MY TP... I'll ask for ticket if I'm found to be speeding as I will not encourage bribing.

                      Cheers
