As above. My printer toner has this "see tru lens" which allows light to pass through when the toner level is low, stopping all prints, but what happens is that there is still quite a lot of powder in the toner(lens were positioned too high), so I covered the lens with some black tape. If say one fine day I print until very low powder level, will I damage the drum?

Prolong exposure of the drum to light will shorten its lifespan.
Also do not touch or wipe the drum even if you see toners on it.Fixed-Wing
