Would this work? (do note that I have no intention of trying this in the near future). Daydreaming. (work too boring)
I have a 3G phone with video call functions. (phone A)
I put it in my plane cockpit (where the pilot sits), and activate video call to another 3g phone. (phone B)
I fly the plane.
Through looking at my video feed from phone A, I can fly the plane, and have a pilot's eye view of the area. (Simple)
2nd thing.
Phones nowadays have the processing power of the very first generation pentiums. Should a 'direct link' from the phone to the receiver be done, it may be possible to fly planes via phone transmissions (patch another phone into the transmitter), which eliminates radio range. Problem is you may experience crashes when you cross over the border from Singtel to Celcom.
Can't see? Fly using video feed.
3rd thing.
How to eliminate battery range? Use a sailplane.
