Women flyers

hi,

just wondering if there are women flyers in this forum .. or any female flyers at all in Singapore.. Is R/C a mens hobby? Well.. my GF sure not one...

Hi, interesting topic. I once ask my wife why she dislike RC flying toys and she gave me some very good reasons:-

1) Too Noisy especially IC engine

2) It is hot flying in the field( I offer an umbrella to shelter her but she decline ...pai say).

3) It is dirty and messy need cleaning , house need cleaning , air plane also need cleaning ...some more, must use with detergent. Wah too much

4) Too complex,need to maintain carburretors, engine tuning, Dismantling of engine to change ball bearing etc....too much to take.


Maybe I should go back and ask her how about flying electric plane ...will solve item1, 3,4 but don't know how to solve item 2.

haha.. I'm facing the same thing man.. wanted my Gf to join me in this hobby .. but.. (same reasons as above) thought if there are female flyers.. can tell her its not a mens hobby, bring her to see female flyers... try to brainwash her so she would not nag..

Hi night flying will solve item2 but will create item 5....more mosquitoes biting...especially female blood....Need to spend more money on insect repellent

Well, for the past x months, i had observed that my bf was super busy with Daddyhobby forum.

Initially, i don't understand why he so into this hobby... as if 24/7 daddy hobby this and that. and i don't understand why he so anxious to check weather forecast before weekends arrive blah blah and other RC-related symptoms.

So, to know what keep him so occupied, i decided to visit this daddyhobby forum. and for months, I have been a regular guest over here

From this forum, i begin to understand why my bf so addicted to this hobby.. and when i first fly his plane (he die die also dont let me touch his heli babies), I finally felt the thrill though it lasted for merely seconds before he took over.

But i dont think i am getting my own plane/heli yet.. cos i wanna make sure i know how to fly it properly and stun him one day.. yeah man!
