Torn between this 2. Which one would you choose given the same price.
Give me some opinion.
Thanks in advance
Mike
Hi Mike, i'm in almost the same position as you. Feature wise, N80 owns it however i saw MANY bad reviews about the N80 abt it being slow and laggy, and that battery life was very poor. The phone seemed to hang many times too and the slider gets loose after some time
Check it out for yourself. Go to google and search 'N80' and you'll find many reviews.
sorry guys....wife had been using the N80... yeah I know many bad point abt N80 ... but the good point is its a NOKIA and had wifi. Good for downloading email when there are internet connection.

Already decided. Nokia N80
I also want the WiFi myself. And considering the price range...i'm quite interested in the Dopod 818 pro

Hi Mike,
Personal experience with N80:
1) Batt drain off very fast.
2) Response of phone very slow.
3) Wifi problem. It doesnt detect ur own svs provider. As though service provider off the air. Need to reset phone to recover. All contacts need to be reloaded.

Ya ya ... yr case always hold me back in getting the N80
On contrary, wife set had no issue w wireless surfing and slow response. Batt drain .. ya
I cannot resist and took the plunge .... gotten the N80
Nokia service sucks, Really sucks!! suck!! suck!! and SUCK!!
I have N80, my son had the 6280.
The 6280 has many problems (incoming message buss not stop while playing game, MP3 auto restart, signal intermittent, etc). After many many many many many complaints and visit to Nokia, managed to get it upgraded to N70.
N70 also have some problem with the MP3 player (cannot use the repeat and random feature and the headphone control button cannot work.
N80 is has a problem if you use with those belt pouch which has a strong magnetic button. When the phone is too near the magnetic button, line will be cut-off, phone may auto turn on and funny things happen. I am sure there are may other software/firmware problem but to lazy to find out.
You need to turn off the blue tooth, otherwise battery runs very fast.
To me Nokia Service REALLY SuCkS!! In my experience, most of the time they can't repair your phone.
