get a camera if you want a camera.
get a phone if you want a phone...

get a camera and a pohne if you want both...
stack them together, you might still find your battery outlast, and your phone & your camera outplay.....
      huh

Just to share. I used to like Nokia phone for their user friendly features. Recently I bought 2 phones, The N80 and 6280, both are NOT GOOD at least for now.

Seems it will need software update the minute you buy it and was told that for the 6280, only the Nokia service centre can do the upgrade. So wasted several hours on the queue.

Even after the software upgrade, the 6280 still have problems like....MP3 hangs, no signal, if there are incoming call or SMS come in while playing games, then the SMS/incoming call vibration will be non stop until you restart the phone. Crazy design.....The Nokia guys are not skillful enough to repair the phones I think.

For the N80, also crazy. If you are using one of those china made belt pouch with strong magnet, any incoming calls will be cut off the moment the handphones slide out of the pouch across the magnets. Very sensitive to magnetic interference. Occassionally, while using camera, phone hangs. Nokia

Think before you buy....!!Nokia service centre is not a fun place to be visiting...

I am using the 6280. I have the MP3 hanging problem!!! All of a sudden, the screen will turn black and the phone will seem to reset back to the default screen. Maybe its the firmware. I have not encountered the rest of the problems though.

it ll prolly take Nokia a lil while to work out the bugs for their new phones... i think the worst thing bout N93 although its a reaaaaaaaaallly nice phone is that its pretty big... i think within the next 2 years or soo camera phones are prolly gonna go into 5MegaPixels if the keep going at the rate their at... The new SonyEricsson is 3.8 or 3.2MP!!

My n80 so far no problems yet. Using the same firmware since april. But I needed to download a application so that the sms does not take a very long time to send.

when u get nokia phones, don't get the latest releases. The new firmware is usually is not fully debugged. They will release firmware updates for quite sometime... all these depends on the feedbacks they receive from the market.

Re-released versions are usually more stable, as the firmware haa been stablised from previous model. Despite being in the same series (N-series etc) firmware differs and cannot be use across different models.

Update of firmware is a 10 minute job if successful. But sometimes it can take very long if the cables/dongles etc refuse to 'behave'
                      .

At the service center, the form u sign will state that information stored on phone will be erased..... so read the fine prints before u sign.....
