Why not lets talk about crashes.... I feel pathetic talking about hovering and number of tanks flown.....

Got my nitro heli about 3mths ago...can only fly in the weekends...so thats about 12 weekends....took less than 10 flights with barely a full tank each flight.....crashed 7 of the 10 flights! Hah!

1 crash: Taken over the heli, but thought it's fully setup....Boom striked
2 crash: Haven't practised on sim enough, boldly took her out for flying....Boom Striked.
3 crash: Pilot incapable to land after hovering...boom striked
4 crash: Hovered, landed, hands itchy, took off again to try, and grass eat my heli whilst attempting to land.....boom striked.
5 crash: pilot error, flown too low and blade snagged the ground
6 crash: pilot's stupidity to rush for landing, cut throttle too fast, boom striked
7 crash: Flown in high wind, heli lost control & rudder spins....

More crashes to count....

Almost feel like giving up!!

woa.... gotta be more careful...... have to take it slowly....

thou not much better.... had 3 crashes within the last 2 months....

crash1: newly installed push-pull elevator arm came out in flight.... think nv put locktite.... quite major, ended up cracking the engine case n changing to a 90.

crash2: screw on the hitec 5945 pitch servo arm came out in an inverted descent... kind of a sad feeling to watch helplessly as u're heli smashes into the ground head first......

crash3: pilot error.... misjudged the height... inverted forward low knife-edge circuit gone bad..... not enough power to pull out, smacked into a mud pile...

so.... now ya all can learn frm the mistakes..... now i have phobia le.. always check the servo screw n pitch arm screw... have a feeling they will come out in mid-flight.. *touch wood*

anyways.... the weird thing is that, after every crash, the engine seems to get more powerful.... lolx.... my OS70 last time crash till it is power is comparable to the 90.... till it cracked...
now its the OS90 Cspec's turn.....

lolx... but its over a period of 4 yrs.... dunno wat i've been doing all these time oso....... take so long to learn....

not concentrating last time.......... cos no1 to teach....
