yup, totaly agree ^^ it benifits the poor, spoils market for the rich.

if you good with netsearch function eg. yahoo, goggle. you wont need to buy anymore software.

and with P2P share programs its easier to get hold of those software you need

software too $$$$$ or even $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

          solution:

software company should start somethings like, use it pay for it system which will reduce the chance or percentage of using PIRATED SOFTWARES copy.

system like our telecom company(singtel,m1,starhub) can charge us like the handphone usage. so that we can affort to use it.

          Conclusion:
          PIRATED SOFTWARES better choice.

When you have no choice but to use legal software for business, you'll start to realise that it is unfair to be using pirated softwares.

No doubt legal copies are damn freaking expensive, but it's like if you cannot afford to fly a RC heli, you don't go steal one just to play. My point of view for software is the same. If you can't afford it, you just don't use it.

fair or not fair depends on how u look at it.
small time newcomers use it becos they simply can't afford to license the software. big time people pay for it like peanuts. eat same type of rice, some people have to beg for money while some have so much they spend it like drinking water. who's right and who's wrong?

for eg microsoft windows, there are so many software in the market that uses Windows. if u can't afford to pay for the licensing of your windows, then the pc is simply a useless thing. try to talk fair to microsoft?

i'm not supporting clones and duplicates but if the company can sell products at a more decent price, who will want to buy clones?
look at the vcd market, it used to be $20+ for the copyright version and everyone turned to the $10 pirated version. now they bring down the price for the copyright versions to under $10(chinese shows at $4-6?), nobody supports pirated versions anymore. so u can just figure out how much the original company is trying to eat off us. we want to appreciate their work but when u have to pay a lot to, u'll have second thoughts.

sorry guys, this is the real world and morale doesn't put bread on the table~~

look at the amount of money bill gates have, think the price you paid for your windows software fair or not?think the price for your office suite fair or not?btw, what you see with bill gates is just a portion of your money, some already went to the engineers, dealers, production cost...

pirated software can be justified if and only if it is used in the areas where it serves no financial benefits, e.g. in sch, where it should be allowed to purchase one copy of software for installation into the tens of com set, instead of buying tens of copies, one for each com.

As for big fishes using original stuff and small fries using pirated ones, that I guess really depend on how big and small is defined, big=MNCs??small=ten man show??maybe it might not seems to be fair, but come to think of it the more established companies can "eat" the small companies without any effort, isn't it true?In this case, is it fair to the small ones? The big ones can easily set the pricing, controlling the market price to the extent where it becomes monopoly, is it fair to the small companies?Look at the four big drug companies of the states, they really do control the drug making industries and their influences can even be felt in other parts of the world, like africa, in that case is it fair to smaller drug companies?

I guess in the real world, it can never be balance, things can never be perfect, becoz we don't live in a ideal world...we gain some, we lost some...

p.s. the drug is medication, not hard drugs.
