Ok, I know I am not supposed to "ups" this thread so frequent, but I am hoping to get some numbers by tomorrow. So, I hope for your understanding while I try to get some attentions. Sorry, and thank you.
Ann Aik and sin ghee huat only deal in Stainless steel...
Hup seng huat is out of stock for the size that I am looking for.
Tried Sin soon huat, good quality stuff... but for the quantity I'm getting, I will be close to $60k off the mark. Anyone works there who can give me a better quotation?
You have contacts for the steel mill?
I have bought 189 lengths of the 8" x 12m Argentina Seamless pipes. Close to $1400 a piece. That steel mill is over book so i doubt there is anymore left in Singapore market.
The next lot I'm looking at will be 24" but ERW.
Your name sounds familiar, I may already be buying stuff from your company.
Hi mave. Sorry I dun sell steel pipes. Actually you can try the steel mills in China eg Baosteel. It will be a lot cheaper if you are buying bulk. But if you are looking foe ex-stock basis. then it will be hard. Anyway the steel mills are now quoting abt 4 - 6 mths delivery if you are lucky
Wrong again. I'm not in the hardware line though I also use ERW pipes and tubes. I'm in ship repair industry. Just that I do send enquiries to the mills direct for my projects. So far in China, Baosteel is still the best. if you want 2 look for other mills/stockists, you can check this website out www.e-pipe.co.kr
ah, sorry about that. Just that I have been doing business with another Jason Soh for many years and I thought he is you.
Anyway, from what I know, the ship industry is doing very well. Some companies have schedules all the way to 2010! Goosh! and just a few years ago it was thought to be sunset industry... If I did not remember wrongly, the ship building industry recently got close to 20-40 Billion worth of contracts. all is set for a couple of years!
By the way, do you have A36 steel plates. 8' x 20' x 6mm left over in your projects? I'm looking at 39 pieces.
