martinez v2 gimbal board need help

Hi ive got a new bare martinez v2 board amd planning to use it but i haf a few qns.
is the board ready to use out of the box? Or need to flash firmware and do settings.
sorry this is my 1st attempt with open source boards.

if need to do wat i described? Can someone show me the right way to do it with some simple instructions or link? Thk u so much..
