Any suggestions for a good HD aerial video cam

Hi guys, i am looking for a HD camera for aerial videography for around 80-100 bucks.
i checked foxtechhobby 1-2 months ago and they had a USD 40-45 camera whic recorded in 720p. It was really worth the money but unfortunately, they are not carrying that camera anymore. Therefore, can anybody pass me links to non-FPV cameras or suggest me some which i can buy locally?
    Thanks in advance.

Foxtech came out with a newer HD camera with very similar performance to a GoPro Hero. http://www.foxtechfpv.com/index.php?...&article_id=19

A bit higher than your budget but it shoots full HD and has a LCD monitor.

Or you can get this. http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/Mini-DVR-...-/180776698380

Its affordable and shoot decent video. You do have to pad it sufficiently to get rid of any vibrations. Otherwise you'll get "jello" vision (rolling shutter) due to the slow scan rate of the CMOS sensor.

Thanks for your link. I finally found the camera i was looking for. The Y3000. Foxtech used to carry it but now they don't. here is a video of a comparison between the 808 and the Y3000. http://youtu.be/CgtTg62GDfs

Do you think its worth the money? They are both cost arouond the same.

I guess its fine if you are a casual videographer. Since this camera is so small and light, it will suffer from rolling shutter like all CMOS sensor based cameras. You will have to keep vibrations down to a minimum to prevent that.

Video quality between these cameras can be quite subjective, so if video quality is your number one priority, always buy the best one that's available. The GoPro is still the best option though it is pricey. The Foxtech Horyzon comes close and at less than half the price of the Gopro.

As you said i am actually casual videographer. Moreover, i will be mounting the camera on a 'pivotted' surface attachhed to a servo to change it from front-facing to down-facing modes in mid-flight. So i figured that a light camera would be better. moreover, if i crash and damage the GoPro, confirm heart pain.

Heh heh, I understand the heart pain part. I crashed my Lotus Quad from a height of around 6 floors in height with the Go Pro on Concrete! However the plastic casing protecting the GoPro is tougher than I thought. The way the quad crashed with the landing gear and camera mount protecting it also helped. The camera and casing survived with a few scratches. I still use it to film my videos.
