I am waiting as well... really want to see how this will helps other Plane flyer as it will be a very versatile board when addon with KK Plus and will function as full stabilation of plane.
Hope the firmware guy can keep up the speed and get more done on the firmware

ohh the maytech are not "yet" for my quad...I just wanted to check of if they really have a bad habit of burning motor after custom firmware...some guy burned his axi 2826 just want to know if its specific to low kv motors cause there are others with good success with those maytech with custom fw.
My 330 will be using timecops rapidesc the 20A version. Dan's have the 30A and I think its not really needed for such small quad.
By the way for those newbie like me, please understand that custom fw is not all benefit...you must understand the risk..no voltage/temp protection also if you short sometime while updating you can ruin your esc or motor or worst hurt yourself..it is easy if you know what your doing...i guess the alternative is just buy from Dan and just make sure your rig is not underpower or too heavy...
Dan, hope the mems module willl arrive soon....

Hi Truck, that's ok, no worries, I really appreciate the help, I still have so much to learn about this hobby
Yeah, great idea, wire the head-tracking into the Naza so that turning the head left & right turns the quad left & right, tilt the head to the side makes the quad tilt in the same direction. use the RC to control the forward / backward and up / down movement.
That would be a awesome set-up

ohh dont get me wrong....for mounts direct drive is the way to go but the servo is the one limiting due to resolution of the servo (the higher the better) and also the deadband we dont want it hunting.. The reason we use belt drive is to hide those issues (due to elasticity/play of the rubber).
For your 330 (im not suppose to say this) but you know those cheapo small camera and the small 2axis in HK website add head tracking then you nice "glasses" you mentioned to haidee...thats an ultimate combo....I hope it made sense

Hi Truck, thank you for the advice, I really appreciate the help. I might go for a proper camera mount with vibration damping and a GoPro on the F450 when the funds become available
I put the micro DV camera & servo idea together for my DJI F330 build just as a bit of funand since I'm waiting for the F330 frame to arrive I thought I'd give it a try on the F450
