check for clashes of feq in here for east flyer

hi guys,

As we all know all the fly site on the east is quite close to each other.. as much as we dont want to cause any crashes.. we should find a way to do some feq check..( i know there is a chance for people to sar boh)

I would suggest that we post our Feq. here to check.. so that we don't bring each other down..( not your actual feq. but at lease the main feq. eg. 29mhz, 35mhz or 72mhz etc... so that when we fly we could contact the other party that's flying near-by to check actual feq...( so leave your contact no. as well)

so far this is the few places i know that may have a feq clash.. (add in if there is more that i dont know..

1. tampines Ave 5 tampines bicycle park
2. tampines Ind Ave 5 (opposite Ikea)
3. civil defend field ( beside civil defend)
4. bedok reservoir ( slopper)
5. bedok reservoir (behind mosque)
6. caltex field (along tampines ave 8 across tampines temasek)

so far this is the few that i know of thats quite busy..

I know of a few thats too close for comfort..
4 and 5 is too close
3 and 6 also too close..
3 and 2 i think also too close..

so at lease before we fly.. just post your location, feq and contact..

so that we can contact each other to check feq clashes..

i'm not saying this is the best way to prevent feq clashes.. but at lease we should find a way to do it...

I'm more than happy to follow if there is a better way.. (i'm sure there is.. but befor that should we try this)

Just a question about freq clash:

If someone switches on a TX with the same freq as yours, will it cause you to lose control of your plane only if he is nearer to your plane than you are? I always thought the stronger signal prevails. So, how near do two flying sites have to be to each other for the potential to exist that the person who is on the other flying site is actually nearer to your plane than you are?

Actually, I have thought of the possibility of freq clash across two different sites, but always imagined no two flying sites are near enough to each other to be of concern, except maybe if someone flies on the opposite side of the same flying site.

stronger signal prevails to some extend.. but we don't want to take any risk..

our radio signal has got a pretty long range.. i dont know exactly how far but someone told me that it could be a couple of hundread meter..

so what we want is peace of mind...

Bro there is one more flying site that is somewhere opp the mosque at ave 6. There are flyers there on weekends and sometimes i fly there on weekdays as well. my freq is 72MHz
