Hi john... the thing abt the minit is that some ppl say the stock motor and esc heats up too easily nd off by itself.... then abt the swash there the joint some ppl zay too small and it can juz pop in...

Is there anything such problems in beam??? and if i crash would the frame break or wad?
i really afraid to work with the CF things... looks cool when you have it and cooler when it crashed.. thx

I’m still using the original stock frame in my Mini T (MT) after 250 flights, and it survived numerous crashes. Come to think of it, every part beyond the main frame has been changed.

A crash is a crash, things will break. It’s the replacement cost of parts and frequency of crash that will make the difference.

In stock form, Beam will be a better buy. There are no upgrades needed, period. For MT, you will need to upgrade the main rotor hub and the two lever sets. Change the lever sets to metal when there is problem maintaining main blade tracking. Change the whole main rotor assembly to metal to get the best performance out of the MT.

If this is your first heli, go for the MT. When it flies, it bigger and more stably. This will help a lot.

Saw that there is a SE version with all the metal parts from a magazine. Not sure if LHS carry it.

        Just my 1 cent.

          Hi...

May i asked you some question?

For example some people sazy that the stock motor for the MT is very easily to get hot... So should i get it with the stock motor+esc or juz the kit and get a scorpion motor+esc which is 70$ more

And i heard also about the join of the swashplate to the blade, the join may jush popin without knowing and the heli will start to shake...

          Have heard of it??

And also where can i get a gud miniT with a gud price? Anyone??

If not i think im getting the kit only without the motor+esc this wednesday at RCE...

ANYONE!!!!! If there is a better place please tell me

          THX

              Hi Ronny,

[And i heard also about the join of the swashplate to the blade, the join may jush popin without knowing and the heli will start to shake...]
Yes, it happens to mine after a hard landing or crash. It happens to me yesterday. Did some which I shouldn’t, and the heli come down hard. Broke the main blades, boom strike, bent main shaft, split ball links (the one at the main blade grip), and striped main gear.

The MT has been around longer than the Beam and there are more flyers. Those you’ve mention are ware and tare, things get warned and broken after use.

              Ps…st best price is online.

If you're wishing for an E4, then go for an E4.

Guess it's not the CF frame or the ESC and motor you should worry for now, but rather the batteries, and the chargers and balancers, and budget, and if you've already got all these. Then the choice remain with which kit you fancy most.

BTW. A stock mini-T flies as well as a fully upgraded one, and the Mini-T also flies the same as an E4. What's important is that you need to provide your kit with enough TLC, don't over oil it by spraying silicon oil on it like it's a cockroach

lastly. All heli are equally hard to fly.. hence, be it a Mini-T or an E4, and if they don't fly properly. the only thing you want to S**ew is the pilot.. and not the wind, and the gyro..

Btw can help me to get a cheap miniT kit without motor...

But im still confuse which 1 to get... miniT or beam E4

                So which 1 is better????

mt is good even for beginner as we can see peeps @ funfly doin crazy stunts. actually ar, i was really about to move onto mt, as advised by some broes here. but i dont wanna go tru upgrading again as this is my 3rd heli.

i would recommend go for mt instead, more stable, becos beam is lighter n very sensitive. oso beam parts r more ex, my 1st crash due to glitch ard $90. this excludes blades/canopy/paddles. later on u can slowly upgrade ur mt follow ur experience path...

                    Forget abt Mini-T or Beam

Start with a 4CH Honey Bee FP!! Basically quite crash resistant and replacement parts are dirt cheap.

or alternatively a 6CH Honey Bee CP

i think beam is the best still. the CF will not break so easily one. unless u delibrately dive down from a high attitude crash and burn to the ground. trust me. i was doing a low fast chaos ( 450 size so i didnt really care) and hit the ground. imagine the impact. all i need to change was the basics and was up flying again! no frame crack. amazing piece of heli.

Oh. Please refrain from putting so much icons.

maybe u should forget the two helis and get a simulator first before proceeding.

                          Precisely!

I would trust an adult more than a young fellow (sorry to say this) to handle a 6Ch 450 size killer machine. If not careful, can kill and cause injury. It's no child play. This is why i olways recommend a HB 4CH FP to all young beginners.

. sustained chaos is continous piroflips. so in the upcoming 3DX, you have to keep doing piroflips (chaos) without any hesistations for a min of 10s and max of 30s. the offical description is....

The chaos should be sustained for a minimum of 10 seconds, up to a maximum of 30 seconds. The Manoeuvre will be stationary in front of the pilot and accurately centred.
