i think the one upgrade needed is the tail hub. i've seen too many ppl losing tail blades because of the poor design of the previous tail hub.

but i just bought a new 'old' version one a few weeks back...arghj

the "new old" tail hub is actually quite good liao. I have had over 300 flights on one. It was originally engineered for the r60, so I guess it should be able to take our abuse. The old old one of the v1 was even more jialat, hover only also can give way. But then, there is never such a thing as too good.

had it happened twice on a v1. First time was on the second flight of the r30v1, the bolt simply came out because I forgot to loctite. Second time was around third gallon, the screw got stripped out of the hub. After that I came online and did some research, then changed to r60 tail hub and grip(at that time don't even have r50v1, so not many know can use r60 tail hub).
