    Kalt Baron 30 HELP

Got myself an old Kalt Baron 30. 'Have to say very excited for it. This heli is older than me by the way, (I'm 24 years YOUNG). Parts-wise, not cleared to fly with rusty parts here and there, who knows how many years of disrepair and collecting dust. Good luck to myself with this hahaha. My fleet consists of all nitro birds (yes I have a fuel fetish), Titan X50, Raptor 30 and 30 V2 too, so all these vintage parts is sure as hell new to me.

It came with NES-507 Servos and a Hitec gyro. Nothing too fancy, just analog, 3.1kg torque etc. Tail boom not in good condition, I believe previous owner crashed it and it has been dented at a unnatural angle. Wooden blades show signs of great use, but looks okay but I haven't tracked them anyway. Canopy looks fine, I mean this is an old heli, not really a beauty queen for sure. Some screws and nuts are completely rusted over so bad, looked like it dipped in curry powder.

Just want to ask brudders, any experienced brudders specialising in putting old birds like this back up in the air? Damn because I'm having a hard time just brainstorming and where to start and all. Sure would like to see her back up flying again, but no 3D for this Queen over haha.

    Thanks brudders!

    Hi armshark,

First of all welcome to the hobby Nice helicopter u have there, old is gold! May i suggest you to remove the boom and source for a helicopter boom that has the same diamater and length. Also check on the important parts like belt, linkages, blade grips and the tail slider pitch links as well. It would be hard to find parts but most parts can be fabricated.. I suggest you have someone experience to have a look at your helicopter

    Safe flights ahead!
