This is a demo video of Trex 450L hovering with throttle cut (throttle hold) landing by brother Kenny.
1. When hovering, try to stay at one point and maintain the same height.
2. Cut throttle before landing at a height of around 0.5m for a heli this size. Maintain a slight positive pitch after the throttle is cut.
Throttle cut before landing will greatly reduce the risk of stripping gear. It is good that you start practising throttle cut as early as possible.
(Note: The height when the throttle was cut as shown in this video is a little low, as this is Kenny's first throttle cut landing. It is better to cut the throttle at around 0.3 to 0.5m for a 450 size heli)
