New heli doesn't even lift

Just brought 2 heli and tried them. Charged their batteries and tried to fly them but they do not even hover. What could be the problem?

Heli isn't damaged in any way and there was no wind. Tried on both beginner and advanced mode.

What kind of heli? Lot of factors like direction of blade rotation or not enough pitch.

Your problem statement is probably : heli cannot hover in one spot, rather than it cant hover right?

Im sure it did took off the ground. Its a micro fixed pitch. Nothing to setup.

It's not even hovering (a little)... just stays there with the blades spinning.

Also after a few seconds, the blade motor will just stop and refuse to spin. However the other things can be moved (aileron etc).

Battery is full btw.

A couple of questions before diagnosing what is happening.

So after the blade spool for a while, it stopped and the battery is presumably still full, given it is only a few seconds?

Is the ESC very hot at this point?

Have you checked the backlash on the main gear?
