450L Dominator 3C - Extreme Tail Wag - First Flight

I just TRIED to maiden this today and I can't get the tail not to wag. I'm using 3gx 4.0 and I have tuned way down the rudder gain to 35 and still wants to wag uncontrollably.

Any suggestions would be great, or if anyone has experience with the 3GX and might be able to take a look I can come find you on the weekend wherever you fly.

    Thanks in advance

Likely to be mechanical issues. Check the tail hub assembly. Make sure it is assembled properly.

Check that the tail thrust bearings are placed correctly. Check when you pull the tail blade grips there is no (or little) play, you may have to pull hard.

Don't over tighten the tail blade collar screws. Oh, check that your tail blades direction is correct (follow the manual).
Check that the T arm and tail rotor control arm can move smoothly.

make sure the tail gain in the software is adjusted correctly. check out helifreak. The stock gain in software might be too high. turn the gain in tx lower till the wag is gone and slowly increase gain. my tx gain for JR is around 20 plus.
