GOBLIN 700 maiden........ANY TIPS GUYS??????

im really afraid of the belt system in goblins. wad should I be looking out for ? flight checks pls???pls advice..

Make sure the boom is locked down and the tail casing screw are tight.

The tail belt should be a little tighter than what stated in the manual.

Motor belt should be tight as per video by Bert from SAB.

Check all the usual screws, fasten the battery tight and of cos your FBL and servos direction is correct on ground before that take off.

Remove all blades, spool up and work all controls and make sure no erratic behaviours. Put back blades and take off. Have fun!!!!!

I also fear my first maiden on my 700 size heli too. One best bet to assure yourself on your investment is probably not to maiden alone. With other flyers around they can help spot and correct behaviours too. Get someone who flew globin before to have a pre-flight check (in terms of tx settings and the physical heli) and maiden it for you before you take over the tx. I am sure someone at the field will be glad to help as I got my heli successfully flying thanks to a nice bro who helped maiden my heli. My 2 cents.

very good tips from the senior brudders. btw, is this your first BIG heli? Is this yr first fbl setup? if both yr answers are affirmative, then its better to get an experienced brudder to maiden with you.

gob 700 is not cheap to crash and IF 'touch-wood', the blade tips during spool up, it's 160 down the drain. Be safe and good luck.

ps: I see you are located in tampines. Drop by siltronic area on sat afternoon or sun morn. Cfm gt flyers there to help u.

To aLL of you , Thanks for the advice n tips. I will find my goblin kakis for this at cdfield. and before this 700. I was whacking my trex600 hard, lol..im trying out the ikon fbl system for the first time, recommended by my big brothers. I will do my best so I don't miss out a thing..anyways thanks again ..should fly together some day !!

Ill be at CD field most of the afternoon today if you want some help with your Goblin.
Ive been flying my G700 for a year (still an amateur tho ) but I can help you preflight etc for your maiden.
Just had to do an auto yesterday due to the cable link to the rudder servo got pressed loose by insertion of the batteries...so thats another thing to check!
