Helicommand HC3-SX & Compass Atom 500 build question

Hello, had setup my Atom 500 with the HC3-SX (had made a larger plate to mount the HC3-SX). However, the "look" isn't very "nice" (please see picture) as way the wires goes up and down isn't great even when the wires are cable-tied neatly.

Does anyone have any suggestion for mounting the HC3-SX onto the Atom 500 that make it look "good"? Appreciate your sharing.

go to sim lim towers to buy cable mesh tubing. as the mesh is expandable, you can slip the cables through it. on each end of the
mesh, you can finish it off with heat shrink.

Hi guys, thanks for the interest and advice. I managed to build a new "platform" to mount the HC3-SX on the side frame and make it look neat (and nice to me). Anyway, too much work and too little time left for hobbies this few weeks. I also crashed my Tricopter so am building a new Tricopter at the same time reworking the Atom

So hope to test flight the Atom this weekend - keeping fingers crossed to have time to do it. Will keep you all posted once I try the bail out function. Then perhaps we can find a place to fly together and share.

Hello bros, need some help here. I don't think I am "getting" the BD 3SX setting

I managed to install and fly the Atom - it fly well and tail holds but clueless on how to set Horizontal mode (not to mentioned Bailout mode!). Another strange thing is that while I can see the setting changes on the slider for Tail Gyro gain and Head Gain (the LED does change from Red to Orange when I move the Head Gain slider), it doesn't seem to have any effect on the heli! I am currently using Software v6.2 and Firmware v2.0.

Is anyone using the 3SX and doing some flying this weekend so I can bring my atom (and my pc) to the field to get some advice? Many thanks in advance.

Finally, tested Normal, Self-leveling & Rescue on my 3SX-Atom 500

Hello bros, very happy today

After much reading & trials, managed to understand how to set up the 3SX. Struggled a bit with programming my Futaba 12z radio (not much information on the web for the 12z!) - needed to use 3 program mixes in order to have one switch to control Normal and Self-Leveling and a momentary switch to activate Rescue mode (regardless of the position of the 1st switch)

Finally managed to test fly my 3SX-Atom 500 in Normal, Self-leveling and Rescue mode today. I must say that the self-leveling function and the rescue function work fantastically. Very nice to fly in small spaces and have some peace of mind!

I am thinking now of getting another 3SX to replace the BeastX on my Mini-Titan
