Freaking Align 700mx Motor Shaft Broke into 2 pieces in Compass 7HV Helical Setup...

Align 700MX 510kv Main Shaft broke into 2 pieces in Compass 7HV with Black Helical Gears flight tests today. Freaking weak tensile strength that works well with straight gears whilst only on sport-flying.

Certainly, I had to conclude the new Compass Helical 13T pinion & Compass 127T Helical Delrin Main Gear are tough indeed! Make sure u can auto-rotate if u use these combinations...

Well not even to that point which I wish I would when I have that inspiration. Just sport fly, stall turn, normal piro-circle low & the slip noise just came up. There was a bruise burnt mark at that base incidentally that I could see. Only happens after a bigger flight. Bird nose in landed beautifully safe...

Had a notion Helical 127T with 13T, 12S Batts works well with Scorpion or Compass motors. Gonna test again see if Scorpion breaks...lol!

To any fans installing...

An added point to any of our bros installing, do make sure helical pinion or any have a slight bit 1 to 2mm space from the bearing end. Should the hardened steel be lack of space, it will cause possibly tedious abrasion & friction with bearing resulting motor twisting the shaft towards tensile breakage.

Nevertheless, I've replaced with Scorpion 4035-500kv for the Helical 127T, 13T Pinion & tested 6mins took off a while ago. Shall commence further stress tests soon...
