HAIYIN, Turnigy Nanotech, Turnigy, Zippy compact and Zippy. Which one do you prefer to use on your Heli?

Which one do you prefer to use?

    In term of;
    Packaging:
    1)any form of protection.
2)balancing wire arrangement any PCB board use.
    3)connector use: T-plug, XT60, XT150, 4mm bullet, 5mm bullet, 5.5mm bullet, 6mm bullet, EC3 or EC5 etc. Justifiable for it's discharge rate.
4)discharge cable use: 8,10,12 or 14 awg etc. Justifiable for it's discharge rate.

    Size (length, height, width)
Weight (justifiable for it's capacity and C rating)
Punch (still powerful after 40 flights)
Durability (slight or no bloat after 40 flights)
    Price wise not so expensive (for example a 5000mah 40c 6's around S$70- S$90)

Any comment base on fact or even feeling is acceptable. No hard and fast rule.

Will never use Nano Tech ever again. Whether 6 S or 3S they all puff & loose power.
Zippy 45C is pretty good, no puffing after 40 flights but dont seam to hold charge
well when you push it. Keeping my fingers cross that the Revolectrix will perform
    well long term.

I realise that Turnigy Nanotech (3300mah 6s 45c x 6, 4000mah 4's 25c x 8 and 4000mah 4s 45c x 5 out of 8) start to bloat after 8 cycles and gradually losing punch after 36 cycles, some after 25 cycles and 19 cycles. All look like cucumber now. Currently I'm using Zippy 6s 40c so far only 16 cycles, start to show sign of bloat but still powerful. So far I have not tried the Zippy 45c 6s yet maybe soon.

By the way anybody use Turnigy Nanotech 65c 6s and Zippy compact 35c 6s? Any comment?

        All turnigys are crap

The nanotechs bloated easily and is now pretty difficult to get into my T600EFL pro, also they come down pretty hot to hold.
I do have good experience with RFI from rotor hobby, they always come down just warm and as of now no bloated at all and I had them longer than the Turnigys.

I would like to try Haiyin 6S 5000mah on the TREX.
        Too many helis!

Turnigy 6s3000mah got 10packs good n no bloat but since I suck at flying, dunno if this tantamounts to being good. Nano tech sucks big time. Voltron is very good, hv abt 8packs of 3s2200 30c,super power n no bloat too, again it's cos I suck at 3d. Thunder tiger exp n bloat like crazy, got 1 since 2008, still using for MT 3d practice, crashed twice but still using. Kong power cmi...no power n exp also.

i am also looking for a back up battery for myself.. narrowed down to the following brands with my own personal reason why i didnt just buy them and still deciding..

Genace - Unable to find locally, pricing a little on the high side
zippy - do not really like the packaging.. colour not nice
            Voltron - Pricing
Haiyin - Too new, waiting for local stock

Let me know if there are any more brands i should consider

              Hey Xuen7,

Aren't we all looking for good & reasonably priced products including you ?

I just re-read my post and i think i know which post you referring to.. Sorry about that i misread your words.. i thought you asking for which battery is the best.. Although thunder power is expensive its actually worth the price if you consider the number of cycles it can manage together with its warrenty..
i am no pro either but thunderpower to me is more of an investment.. those cheaper brands are really not as cheap either and if we consider the lifespan it might not even last half as long as a thunderpower but i guess time would tell since most other brands domt really talk about how long they can last.
