I sure would like to see what the heck u all experiencing. For me, I only experiencing tail servo twitching when I use pico servo for tail (regardless of what motor speed). When I use naro servo for tail, everything "sui sui" (Perfectly good).
Both Brushed and Brushless Controller is using 11kHz or higher Waveform (Brushed = PWM, Brushless = Sinusoidal... I think). Arching will general much lower frequency but wider band (wider frequency).
So, if u put your RX antenne or even RX itself (Due to it is not shield by metal) too close to the ESC itself or its ESC o/p, your RX will pickup a lot of noise. Sometimes those noise is too great that your ESC will go shut off (Protection). Normally RX picking up noise will have all the channels (at least randomly) effected (twitching or sudden power up/down).
If your 3 swash plate servo that is effected but randomly, then it could be your Gyro somehow filter off the noise cause by above. If only particular servo for the swash plate that is effected, then it could be your servo (that particular one) is dying or having dry joint or even the servo itself picking noises from too close to power line or ESC o/p.
I do notice that for coreless motor type servo (pico), it is somehow sensitive to gyro o/p. This could be our GY240 o/p is too fast response (higher sampling rate) that causes the servo to go twitching (only tail servo). I tried a few pico servos (but too bad from the same company. I do notice most of u having problem on tail also using pico servo with GY240). When I use GWS Naro size (Ferrite Motor), the twitching is gone. (If o/p of Gyro is high frequency, then this could be true because ferrite motor is not as sensitive or more immune to noise.
Reducing sensitivity or moving away gyro will reduce the glitches on tail servo but that is not what u want because u also reduces the sensitivity of the tail. Therefore u defeat the purpose of HHold Gyro.
Oh... twisting the wire of servo, gyro or motor wire will reduce any unwanted EMF generated by it. (Similar to computer network UTP cable. Or Unshielded Twisted Pair)

i think we're all getting a bit confused witht the two threads i started, i know i am.....the glitch propblem thread's supposed to be the other one this one's about the etec haha i'm too confused now
