Haha kidding about the previous post! Well, the after a flight, the motor is too hot to even touch for a few seconds. And the battery(new) is warmer than usual.
The motors are Supreme 180 motors and the battery is a E-Flite 7.4V 800mAh. Im using the stock plastic gears and both top and bottom blades spin smoothly.
I have stripped her naked to replace some parts before. And I just did that again to level the swashplate and made sure everything is in the right place. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to lubricate her? I got the heli for 4 years now and never lubricated anything except for the inner shaft with some singer oil
are these brushed motors? maybe they are reaching their lifetime
Yes they are brushed. But these motors have lesser than 10 flights on them. And yea, i just noticed the heli vibrates alot. The vibrations come and go, so im thinking that one of the shafts is bent. But will a bent shaft cause the heating issue?
