I'm not sure about the ball bearing on the swash guide..

Kind of agree with you, but don't think it is absolutely 'tight', so with the rotational torque, proabaly only one side in contact, and if only on side in contact, then it will roll.Originally posted by remotemadness View Post

If you look at it carefully.. there's 2 bearings..
my suspicion is one bearing will contact front of guide and the other bearing contact the back of the guide.. this way swash can move freely up and down without the opposite drag..
The pic. is not clear to show the inside of the guide.. but the fact that there's 2 bearing suggest this.. I think...
