Newbie In the House

hello everyone . i m new in the heli world as the forum name goes Daddyhobby haha.. i m married with a kid... hope to know more about heli from fellow member.
BUT got a hipcup start in a deal today
bought a heli from a fellow young member
check the stuff n off i go happy n content, reach office about 15 min later
try to charge the batt but the led doesnt light up to show it is charging sms the seller to inform him the batt cant be charge n the batt looks bloated... n he agree to buy replacement batt for me
but then after realize the cost is too high for replacement batt,,
so i suggest return n he agree
but after about few hour later he back out saying a deal is a deal u paid didnt check is yr fault adding i cheat him by mean of a default batt n wanted a extra batt/ that i place the in my car boot that cause the batt to bloat ... OMG .. he also added the deal was without batt. the batt was a FOC item so not his fault... which i didnt want to further argue more..
deal went wrong... didnt want to further argue the whole situation i decide this is just my luck .. i just reached home yet to check if the batt is working condition ...
most prob going to buy a new batt.
the probem is the batt is a Esky batt with i tik they call it J plug
anyone care to suggest where to buy the batt or worst case i buy the normal batt that comes with Dean plug n solder the other end that accept dean plug

updated with the batt plug into the heli ... totally no batt ,, try to charge with my RC lipo charger... error /. seller mention tested the heli before meeting me

sorry to hear about your unpleasant intro to this wonderful world of Heli..

You can try Rotor hobby shop.. My suggestion is.. bring your heli there.. look for uncle mike.. Get him to look at it.. You might need to pay a fee for his service.. But at lease you will see it fly or hoover.. he'll probably need to change some parts for you as well.. but of cause if there's too much to change.. then forget it..

don't give up.. what you've experience in the deal does not represent the rest of the hobbyist.. I have meet a lot of helpful and trustworthy people.. Just your luck.. sorry

JST plug can be soldered to the batt urself.

Bring the heli to a funfly group n ask for help.

If it is really the spoilt batt, then it should be ok. Anyway batts nowadays r cheaper.
