ESKY Honey Bee FP V2

Hi guys! I am a noob that is thinking of getting into this flying hobby. Have been playing RC cars for few years now, decided to try something more challenging.

I am thinking of getting the ESKY Honey Bee FP V2 as my first bird. Don't really intend to fly 3D, just more of flying indoors and sometimes outdoors if weather permits.

Anyone bought the above heli before care to share your experiences? I am looking more to a stable heli for beginners.

Another thing, I know the heli is suppose to run on 11.1V Lipo 3S. But I have two new 7.4V Lipo 2S lying at home and was thinking if I can use them on the heli? I bought the 2S Lipos thinking of using it on co-axials but decided to change my mind to get a bigger FP heli for occasional outdoor flight.

I will recommend you to get a hirobo srb FP, is a good platform to learn and buy indoor.....


Maybe be ex, but is safe for indoor as blades are foam and only thing u break will be the foam blades, not tv, sofa etc...haha

But hirobo srb out of the box can fly damn well.....no need all the mods or upgrades, hence shld pain pain go for it.....

Actually Quark SG only downside is its a FM PPM radio. All 99% of flyers using 2.4Ghz radio liaos...

hirobo parts like not many places selling? and its way above my budget lol!
How about the voltage thingy? Anyone tried putting a 7.4V 2S battery and use it on 11.1V motor? Cos I saw someone suggesting it in some forums somewhere.

I dont think so can....depend on the motor and the esc.

Worse thing that can happened is your LIPO will explode cos over drain. Least is your lipo die sooner. Best is follow instruction. use the rated type of battery.
