Is it advisible to solder two lipo batteries together ?

Hi guys , is it advisable to solder 2 lipo battery in parallel together ? Not to mention charging it inside the heli .
Its because my 3 channel heli from china run on sub-standard size batteries of 500mah , 3.7v 1 cell with 2 pin connector . I tried many rc shops but they only sell 1 cell 250mah , 3.7v with 2 pin connectors . So can i solder the 2 in parallel to get 500mah ? Will the battery explode or is it dangerous ? I really would like to double confirm with you guys whether is it advisable or not ?

Assuming u know how to do soldering and u know how:
If both packs bought the same time and never being used before, then it is ok.
Just make sure both packs are the same model and brand. Do not mix.

But it is better to create a connector so that u can plug both packs together to form a parallel connection and from there, connect to your craft. In that way, u can unplug it and charge separately...which is better.

i am an avid supporter of running my cheapo lipo in parallel connection. Few things to adhere to:

      1) same discharge rate for both packs i.e 20c, 25c, 30c etc or the one with the lower C will suffer and in some unfortunate cases, boomz

      2) age of lipo as per mentioned by Senior bro Super Hornet. Dun connect a virgin with a vintage, likelihood of boomz also high.

      3) make of lipos must be the same (strictly to be adhered to).

As for soldering together, I won't do it unless entirely necessary. Just make a parallel connector using 14awg wires, just nice. I am using 12awg wires with 4mm bullet connectors (kindly donated by Bro Troy) for my trex600esp. 2 X 6s3000mah in parallel, 7 minutes of gentle underpowered flying.

Will make a trip to sim lim tower for necessary stuff like 2 pin connectors proper range wires , etc . I do that because i don't have a choice , not that i want to . I don't want to waste a workable toy grade heli . If i were to retire it , at least it has to be downgrade to " attend C home " . Time for some illegal modifications .

By the way is the Blade SR , 4 channel heli a good choice for beginner ? Saw in some foreign forums that it can be upgrade to 6 channel after changing tx to dx7 . But i still wonder if its 4 channel is because of the tx or because of the heli ? Since some pple can mod it to 6 channel .

Sorry my mistake , the BLADE SR is a 6 channel heli , not a 4 channel heli . Just made a check and realised my mistake .

Sigh , i already solder the 2 lipo battery together , fix to my heli but why is it still the same ? The charger charge till the led change from red to green led but the blade will only just spin like hell without lifting off . What's wrong with my heli ? Is it still battery problem ?

so if u say toy grade... i presume it shldnt be fixed pitch? coz it aint reli toy for fixed pitch...

if its coaxial.... maybe iszit that ur blades are damaged?

Its co-axial and the blades are still ok , anyway thanks for your help . I've decided to discard this heli and trying to make my pc play any simulator it is willing to do ( Having problems using fms due to 3D video rendering ) . Then i will go 450 size 6 channel . Planning to buy flasher after i get myself familiarised with 6 channel controls .
