    Hi,

Would anyone know if there is there anywhere in Singapore i can get this motor?
Would it be better than an Align 2800kv 400LF in a trex?

    Advice greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Chan has the motor but i would advice u not to get from him.
I have one from him and has some problem.

The motor very difficult to start. Guess is timming problem but dun know how to solve. Even the expert also ask me to trash it since chan has no-return and no-warranty policy.

        Hi lame_cow

yes u can get it in Champion BUT I REALLY RECOMMEND U NOT TO get from him also. I got mine from him for my TRex before but the shaft broke when I do punch up.

The 400DH is really high speed and power for TRex but then hor... it eat Li-Poly for breakfast! Too high current consumption.

          Hi,

I do agree, it get real hot, it wont melt the solder but hot enough to melt the shrink wrap for the cables connectors. I have it on my Zap now. Thinking of changing to another type of brushless motor.

Does not suit the cc25 well too.

hmm i guess the performance comes with a price... anyways i emailed vinnie at justgofly and he told me i could buy his motors from champion, so that would mean they are the same?

                  Hi,

At least you can still get a heat sink for your himax but not with this outrunner.....

Yep, this is the only recomemdations from the experts......they highly recomemded 8t pinion. Mine is still 9t.

Between, 2mm and 2.3mm pinions are now available at Jethobby... saw them the other day,, and thought about the Zap...

If worse come to worse, u can change the shaft to 2mm Shaft.... If u have spare shaft from himaxx motor. Me and Johnny did manage to mod it using himaxx motor shaft.

As for pinion, Zap and TRex is recommended to use 8T pinion.

                          Hi Larren,

I read from Trextuning that CC 25A can go for gorvener mode already. What u need is the software ESC V1.13.
