Hi Guys,
New to RC Heli, currently using a Honey Bee 2 CP ( 2nd Hand ) ,manage to have it hovering but with much effort as it seem to have the "mind" to move by itself all over the fields, it never want to stay still while hover. Each time adjusted the proportions and gains in the 4in1 rx and each time it fly in different manner. Tried adjust the trim in the TX also have not much improvement .Did crash a many times but seem that the heli is controlling me more than I controlling it.
laughing
Also seem that the Main Shaft Drive Gear Set's gear teeths been damage by the Main motor gear after each major crash landing ( Replacing the Main rotor blades is easier than change Main shaft but cheaper ).http://www.daddyhobby.com/forum/newt...newthread&f=3#
Hammer
At current, seem that more people is using TreX, it it a more stable heli and is it required less effort to control it ? Althoght it is using "separate" electrontics as compare to Honey Bee.
Does TreX also have the same issue with the Main Shaft Drive Gear Set's gear teeth damage during a crash ( landed side way )?
Is the cost of changing the TreX damage parts always higher than of Honey Bee taken the flight-time into consideration that in the workbench servicing it?
TreX flyer any comments. Thank you.
While back to the old work-desk for my the grounded Honey Bee.
Thank you.
Best Regards
Have a nice day.

once its properly set up. i had a honey bee, i havent really stripped any mean gears, just the main shaft bent, and i didnt really fly it (properly then). i think it is much better to go for a Hold Holding Gyro, it takes so much less effort to control, with the HH gyro, u dont have to worry abt the tail swinging, so best is to actually switch it soon, or wait for the x-400. dont get a used heli, cuz then u wont know how to assemble the heli, and it will be problematic once something is out of place, so learn to fix it up
. anyway, to answer to your question, i suppose stuff for the rex is cheaper, but u have to keep in mind, the rex has alot more parts than the HB2.
